Welcome to the home of the Visigothic Symposia (VgS) series!

VgS is a sequence of international (and free & open-access) online symposia on the Visigoths. The symposia are composed of peer-reviewed papers and formal response texts.

The papers and response pieces of each symposium are published here on the VgS site, under the imprint of Networks & Neighbours (N&N) and in association with Gracchi Books. N&N is an interdisciplinary OA project dedicated to the promotion of globally cooperative research and innovative, critically informed scholarship engaged with late antiquity and the early middle ages.
