Welcome to the home of the Visigothic Symposia (VgS) series!

VgS is a sequence of five international (and free and open-access) online symposia on the Visigoths to be convened from 2016 to 2021. The symposia will be composed of ten peer-reviewed papers and ten formal response texts, along with relevant podcasts.

The papers and response pieces of each symposium will be published here on the VgS site, under the imprint of Networks & Neighbours (N&N). N&N is an interdisciplinary OA project dedicated to the promotion of globally cooperative research and innovative, critically informed scholarship engaged with late antiquity and the early middle ages.
